암은 없어져야 할 비정상적인 세포들이 자라난 덩어리다. 암을 치유하기 위한 방법으로는 크게 두 가지가 있다. 암 세포를 도려내는 것과 약물 주입을 통해 퍼져있는 암세포를 죽이는 방법이다. 후자의 경우 주로 말기 암에서 쓰이는 치료 방식이다. 이때 정확하게 암 세포만 없애야 한다.
